Christmas party
Up to exercise and walk before taking Evelyn to the Palm Aire at the Best Western for the LWML Christmas party. I went to the motor home and dropped off more things before going to the recycle center. I was hoping against hope that I would find a paper shredder box with a UPC code but no success. I came back and worked on the sermon. During my earlier walk, I saw a man from Trail’s End who said he was planning to help with the set up tomorrow. We will have to wait to see how many will come to fill the seats. I also went to the UPS and learned that I might be able to ship the Kahlua to Shirley on Monday. I was surprised when Evelyn came home about half an hour early. I was just heating the leftover pizza for my lunch. I ate and then we relaxed and watched a movie I had rented. We took a walk to Country Sunshine to see the new double wide trailer they have for sale. What a rip-off. We were told the asking price is $70,000. There isn’t even a place to park a vehicle bigger than a golf cart on the pad. If it sells for that, we should ask $100,000 for ours. Bonny called and asked us to come to Progreso Lakes for tacos. I took some Merlot that was terrible, but the pico de gallo that Frances, her mother’s former house maid, made was good as were the tacos and rice. We came home and went to bed relatively early to be fresh for the worship in the morning.
