Renewing friendships

I took the cake to work today but not the ice cream. I worked collecting money from the drive through again. We ordered three pizzas and ate most of them. I brought three pieces of the sausage, onion, and bell pepper home for Evelyn. The staff also ate most of the cake but I left all for the night shift. We came home and I took a nap and then we ate soup for dinner. We went to Stonebridge where we found the Salmons and Bill and Pat Smith. We will invite Bill and Pat next week. In the meantime, we will be with Ron, Mary Lou and our family for the 4th. We took the Salmons up to Casterline’s cabin so they could see a real mountain hide-a-way. We spent some time with them planning some outings while enjoying wine and green tea in a bottle (for Evelyn). We will have them come for dinner tomorrow evening and then plan to find some pickin’ around the area.
