Go Boilers
Saturday was sleep in day again. Hallelujah! Unfortunately we didn’t get to bed early enough to take full advantage of it. We arose and I worked on the service for tomorrow. Evelyn and I both worked on cleaning the house for our upcoming guests. She also cleaned a cupboard where the cans were and put some pans in them. She put the cans into the new racks in the created closet. We also decided on some items we no longer need to put into the upcoming park garage sale. We had lunch and back to work for me. At 2:30 we watched Purdue beat Illinois in Champaign Urbana. This put Purdue at the top of the Big Ten conference--at least temporarily. We had not eaten since earlier this morning (except for the obligatory peanuts in the shell for athletic events) so we ate supper around 5:30 before going to Home Depot for spackling and HEB for groceries. We also mailed a birthday greeting that will be late in arrival. We came home and watched some of a Mel Gibson movie before retiring early--9:00. I was really tired.
