Terrible football
We wakened and I colored my hair with “A Touch of Grey” before going to the huge breakfast. Evelyn ate well again and didn’t seem to have any ill effects. She did rest after we packed things into the car for the trip home. We drove without incident to Mars Hill for the football game. We met Dallas and Karen (I will post their pictures soon) and watched the Mars Hill Lions lose. They like to go to those games. We drove to their house as planned and watched the pathetic Purdue football team lose to a poor Notre Dame team. I decided about half way through the 3rd quarter that I was not going to waste a week in October waiting to see if they can beat Michigan--they can’t. We also watched some of the Cubs next to last game of the regular season. Dallas prepared steaks and salmon on his barbecue and Karen served a rice dish, asparagus and sliced tomatoes before a delicious carrot cake. We went to their basement and practiced some of our tango steps. They have a beautiful home in Candler. We drove home and unpacked. Evelyn developed gas again after taking potassium with our water. If that continues we will have to buy water. We will worship tomorrow morning and then relax in the afternoon.
