no camera, no rain

We got up, ate half a banana and went to walk around the lake. It was a beautiful morning, and we were awaiting a call from the hair dresser. Evelyn wanted to have her haircut but had received no response to the message she had left. We finally had to call her again and made an appointment for 4 in the afternoon. After a nice lunch of walnut crusted chicken, broccoli salad, whipped sweet potatoes and spinach soufflé. Evelyn had made this meal last night. It was delicious. We decided to drive to Maggie Valley to look for the camera again. No one had turned it in so we borrowed a cart and retraced all the steps from the 17th tee. We went everywhere we could remember that I had shagged a ball but had no success. The sky was very dark and thunderous so we hurried. We went back to the Dish Barn and found 4 ramekins and 8 juice glasses to bring home. Everything was half price. We returned home and cleaned the interior of the car before Evelyn suddenly noticed the time and rushed off to the barber in Clyde. I went to the neighbor and invited him for a beer. I also wanted to ask if he knew anyone who might want to dispose of some medium size rocks for out 2 mulch areas. He said he would look. He is an old army MP and has some funny stories to tell. We talked until Evelyn came home. She prepared a small 1 course supper, and we ate some of the strawberry pie she had made yesterday. I went out and watered the azaleas that had been planted in early afternoon before watching the Cubs play the Braves.
