Canadian spring
Today was like Canadian spring, according to our Canadian neighbors. It was cold and rainy. We stayed indoors after exercise. We had talked about going to South Padre Island over Christmas. La Copa Inn has a very good deal: 3 nights, 3 breakfasts, 4 event tickets (including a dolphin watch) and a Christmas Day dinner for 4 (they mean 2 adults and 2 children). I consulted Accuweather and learned that rain is predicted throughout the Christmas season. We decided not to go if the weather is bad. Armond came to talk, and I learned that we are still in trouble with the water line. His water line is still under the corner of our shed. We will have to explore the options further. We rested in the afternoon before going to the hospital Christmas party. We had our supper there. They always have a nice buffet for the staff and volunteers. They also have a drawing for some nice prizes but we couldn’t stay for the second drawing. We came to the park and set up for the dance. There were only 56 people there and the floor was not crowded. We were at home by 10:40 and ready for bed. I had taken the camera to both events but did not remember to take any pictures.
