Much ado about everything

We were up on time, and Evelyn went to exercise while I showered. We went to the park meeting, and I spoke about the AARP class I will lead on February 13. I had 10 signed up but one immediately canceled because there is a golf tournament that day. I wonder if it will be worth the $60 dollars he could save on his car insurance. We ate a late breakfast and then left to run errands. I dropped off a prescription and then went to the recycle center to deliver cardboard. The sign is still up declaring "we are not accepting plastic at the moment." We all get a charge out of that. The whole operation is a joke anyway. We then went to Walgreen's for some Crill gels on sale. From there we went to Home Depot and bought a faucet set for our kitchen. The current one is corroded at the bottom and is in need of a new washer. From there I went to make an appointment to have the car checked over and then on to pick up our CD player that doesn't work well. We swung on over to Lowes and bought another faucet set to compare them to see if we like one better than the other. We went to Dairy Queen and brought a hunger buster home for our lunch. Then we cleaned up the kitchen before Evelyn lay down. I worked a bit on the sermon and then got very tired. Unfortunately, Stephen called and wanted to talk. I was so wiped out I couldn't talk and stay awake. I handed the phone to Evelyn and went to sleep on the couch. I slept for almost 2 hours. The park workers have already begun digging the trench for our new water line. The should be done tomorrow. We didn't eat any supper but did have popcorn with our neighbors. They came and played Sequence with us for a couple of hours. I felt somewhat guilty because I had partially made arrangements with him to play golf this afternoon but remember the nap? That took priority over everything. I hope to work through this sleep deprivation period of my life soon. We also signed up for some ultra sound tests for our arteries. That happens later in the week. This was a busy day.
