First day alone

We got up at 7:30 and went to walk the lake. We are going to try to get back into the habit. I had to go to the hotel to use the Wifi because my air card is broken. I took longer than expected, and Evelyn had no book. She was very kind to wait while I published some pictures on the blog and answered some e-mails. We came home and cleaned up before eating what was left of last night’s dinner. Then I took off for Asheville to see if I could get my air card replaced free. I worked with a very nice young man who did just that. We also talked about perhaps getting a new phone. I drove home and relaxed until time to go to the Potluck/Bible study. There were few people there and very few dishes. The study has been rather dull but won’t meet next week due to VBS at the church. Then the pastor will go on vacation. We stopped at the grocery for some country style ribs for $1.26 per pound. We also needed some things for Evelyn to make for the LWML meeting Thursday. She had made some no nuthin soup for us to eat, hopefully to lead to weight loss. It was sad but relaxing to be alone at home again for the first time in a month. We really love our grandkids and had a great time with them, even when all 7 were here. We hope they come again next year, and we are here to entertain them.
