huge party

Wednesday we went to Silver Sneakers.  We were surprised as to how short it was today.  We went to the grocery before coming home for a light lunch and a shower.  We ate light because we had been invited to a party in the park.  We took boudin as an appetizer and arrived at 4, the scheduled time for the party to begin.  There must have been 100 people there and we had arrived on time.  Winter Texans are famous for this ongoing social blunder.  There was a ton of Hors d’ oerves, followed by jambalaya and tamales.  We didn’t eat any dessert although they looked delicious.  We have given up desserts for Lent.  We try to think about our Savior’s suffering when we deprive ourselves.  We came home and watched Purdue put up a great fight with Michigan but losing by 1 point.
