The draw of the town

The world famous NC hot springs. 

The tubs themselves are very modern but filled with the rich mineral water pumped up from underground at 104 degrees.  The air temperature was comfortable.  We wouldn’t have needed to dress for this because behind the camera was a wooden privacy fence.  Of course we look better in the picture when dressed.

If you look closely at the background, you will see the creek below offering privacy from the front of the tubs.  We didn’t stay in the tubs for the full hour we paid for.  Long stays are not good for those with high blood pressure.
