Where was I?

Our month began in Savannah.  Evelyn wanted to go on the trip I had found before it got hot.  Fat chance.  It was hot an humid all the time we were there.  We walked to the river twice and back to our apartment 4 times.  We finished our evening activities after the Dot bus stopped running.  We never saw a pedicab when we needed one.  We had a great time on the Gospel river cruise Monday evening.  We had taken the same cruise 7 years ago for Evelyn’s 67th birthday; now my 76th.  I will try to post some pictures below.  We also took a bus tour that we had 7 years ago.  It was good to do it again for the commentaries.  I lost my camera on the bus that took us to the tour bus but found it when the same bus took us back home.  We drove home on Tuesday and stopped at the Tuskegee pilots monument on the way.

Evelyn taking a break on one of the benches in one of the 24 beautiful squares in the city that Oglethorpe planned before he left England.  It is a beautiful city.

Evelyn is almost trapped into attending a “seminar” that would have focused on selling her a time share or something.  The kid was quite friendly and offered many enticing side gifts.  The Lord blessed her with the will to walk away.
