Class over!
After taking Evelyn to Knapp to volunteer, I had to go to Harlingen to check on the rental unit at Encore park. I checked the appliances, and they seemed to work fine. I could not get the television set to work, so I went to Wal Mart and bought one along with some supplies I needed for the AARP class. When I took it to the unit, I couldn't get it set up. I just left a note and came back to Weslaco. I did go to the home of Henry Torrez, a man who said he might know someone interested in buying the unit. This was several weeks ago, but he has not returned my call. I did learn that we don't have to put a new roof on the unit to sell it. That is good news. I think we will put the thing up for sale at the end of the season, regardless of what we get for it.
I bought us a Burger King for lunch and walked to finish the two day class. It went quite well but now must deal with the paperwork that I must submit. I hope I have done everything I am supposed to do. The Harlingen renters arrived. We are both concerned that they may be extremely disappointed. We will try to go see them soon. We had sandwiches for dinner and then went to choir practice. Tomorrow we take the motor home to Trail's End to set up for the renters who should come in from Canada on Saturday. Busy, Busy.
