Uplifting day.

We both has an abbreviated exercise this morning. We then showered, and I prepared to go the McAllen Mayor's prayer lunch while Evelyn went to the Tuesday morning Bible study. Glenn and I enjoyed the lunch from Jason's Deli and the talk by Cal Thomas who gave his usual great Christian witness. A young Jewess read from the OT in Hebrew. It was beautiful. We came home and Evelyn took a nap while I tried to finish up the sermon. I learned that one of the pianists that helped us on Sunday mornings doesn't want to play anymore. I must contact John Hamel to see if he would be available. I laid out the 9X12 mat we bought yesterday. It fits on the floor of the screened porch. Evelyn had another Bible study tonight featuring The Purpose Driven Life. I watched TV and finally completed the puzzle. Ray called this morning and invited me to play golf tomorrow morning at Mid Valley. We will rent a cart and play 18 holes if it doesn't rain. He will pick me up at 7:45 tomorrow.
