Unemployed.

Off to the hospital for Evelyn. I dropped her off and went to the Circle K for a 2 for 1 breakfast burrito. I brought them home, ate one and saved the other. After showering, I read through the e-mails and then washed up my "new" golf clubs and bag. It was then time to start lunch for us. I heated the steak we had brought from the Remington last Monday. They had packed the salad, the potatoes and vegetables. I picked up E from Knapp, and we enjoyed the meal. We were both tired and took a nap. After waking, we read a while and left for Lenten service. Bonny was not there since she was still in Austin with the newest grandson. Joe was there and suggested we get together sometime soon. I might add here that on March 8, a letter was sent letting me know formally that my call, which should have begun in November of last year, was not renewed. What timely communication! I am certainly not happy about anything in this deal, but Jesus knows what He is doing. "...forgive us our sins as we forgive those who sin against us." We came home and watched a special about some model who lived through the tsunami last Christmas. What a miracle! Unfortunately, she gave no broadcast recognition of the mercy of God even though the piece was titled "Amazing Grace". I had set the VCR to record American Dreams, Evelyn's favorite program. We will watch it before we retire. We have also made plans to go with the Jones family to dinner on Friday. They have sold their unit and will not return next season. We will see them in NC, but perhaps not in Texas. Newcomers will go with us. Tomorrow it is off to Boca Chica beach in Brownsville.
