Catching Up
It is May 16 and I am at the local library trying to catch up on this blog. I am exactly one week behind. This area doesn't have Juno service.
May 9 we talked with the RV repair shop that will look at the rear jacks on the coach. They will call the extended warranty company, hoping to prevent the snafu that occurred in Texas with the refrigerator. Evelyn went to the laundromat, and I came here to dump e-mail and write the blog. We mostly relaxed the rest of the day but discovered a letter offering free tickets to see a Liberace impersonator at Bearcreek farms next week. We will take Evelyn's mom to see it. We ate in Monday.
Tuesday we went to do credit union business and visit with our broker, Clayton, to get information to be used in computing our income taxes Wednesday. He gave us more coupons for free pizza and appetizers at Uno Chicago Pizza. He is a great guy and keeps up with our accounts. We went to our friends the Casterlines for dinner. She wanted to cook so we went there instead of going to a restaurant. They are the couple that introduced us to Maggie Valley and the North Carolina mountains. She made many delicious things including a rhubarb sauce and a rhubarb cake. We loved the dinner and thank God for friends like them. We gave her the four bottles of Kahula we had brought for her from Mexico and also gave them some 1015 onions from the Valley.
