Tuesday

We are enjoying the time with Olivia. We arose at 8:00, and I talked with the builder-in-chief, Sharon. We learned when she would be completing some of the jobs on our house. I am waiting for trim and painting on the interior of the shed. We also talked about the track lighting Stacy recommended over the dining room table, the third change in plans. We paid her the money that we owed her from going over budget on the cabinets. We went to the sanitation office to put the account in our names. We stopped in at the church to see what we could do to help with the servant event. It was done for the day, but we planned to go to Asheville for a minor league baseball game at night. Unfortunately the game was sold out, probably due to the scheduled fireworks after the game. We went on to the dermatologist, a very gracious, Christian man named Rufus Thomas. He said I needed to have the place on my ear "addressed" as well as the one on my chest. I can't have it done until August 3 so there must be no emergency. We returned some drapes to Lowe's after lunch and then went to the library, recycle station and the grocery for some country style ribs to smoke. They were not what I wanted so I passed. We went to the recreation center that has an indoor pool and E. and O. swam for an hour. The pool closes at 8:00. We returned home and watched a video from the library and had popcorn.
