Bringing things home

Saturday began with a walk followed by a drive to many churches searching for a Gideon Memorial Bible rack. Most churches have them but not any of those we visited. We need to send Bibles in memory of Shelly Waters and in honor of Arnold and Gloria Gerbers 57th anniversary. We visited a few garage sales but found nothing of much interest. We went to the Open Door to take some pictures to donate and Evelyn found some white dress shoes that fit! She has trouble finding shoes that fit in shoe stores. We also picked up our upholstered counter stools that we had bought at Tyson's and found a computer cart for our office. After we lugged those things home we rested in the afternoon, planning to go to Maggie Valley in the evening but rain dampened our desire. Get it? Rain dampened.......Oh well. We just enjoyed our new Dish network.
