Last of the etouffee

We did sleep in until nearly 8 and then woke to watch the shuttle landing. We thank God that they got home safely. That is two "rescues" by the Lord this week: the Russian submariners also were saved. We got up and went back to walk around the lake again. That is 4.6 miles in less than 16 hours. What troopers we are! We returned an item to Lowes and I bought a chimney charcoal starter. We came home and invited Sandy Burns and Michael Davis for a lunch of etouffee. It will spoil and there is too much to eat by ourselves. They seemed to like it. Evelyn napped and I arranged some bills to pay. I wakened her and took her to her hair appointment. She needs a permanent. I picked up my laptop and went to the library. I will have to go home and play with the new one. I don't think Evelyn fully understands what all I lost from the computer. We had a call from my high school buddy, Sam, who said he might come for the weekend. That will be great. We went to the Bible study/potluck and then came home to watch an old movie from the library: "The Thomas Crown Affair."
