New lights at last
Tuesday found us walking the lake again--twice in 14 hours. We went to the Terrace and did the normal computer work. We returned home and worked on making pica de Gallo from some of the tomatoes we got from the church Sunday. We then had lunch and I tried the batch I had made by adding a drop of the insanity hot sauce and part of a habanera pepper Paul had given me. It was plenty hot. I had also shredded what was left of the ribs we had last week. Evelyn thought they were too dry but shredding it and adding more barbecue sauce improved them. We continued our preparation for the potluck/Bible study. Evelyn planned to make her Ramen noodle slaw. We also distributed medicine into our weekly carriers so we will have enough medicine with us until we get back. We waited for Sharon, the builder, to talk with us, but she never showed. Kathy Rogers did come with our lights for the dining room and entry way. We won’t have the electrician install them until we return from Purdue. After Bible class, we went to the RV park where the motor home is stored and brought it home. I wanted to bring it home before the morning traffic because I want to leave shortly after noon tomorrow.
