Celebration of a giving life

We arose early, walked and prepared to go to the funeral home in Geneva. We ate our leftover fish for lunch here but took a sandwich for our dinner. We went early to prepare some pictures and then the people came. To our surprise, there must have been nearly 150 people come during the 4 hours of visitation. We thought there would be many fewer because of her age, but many must have come because John, Evelyn’s brother, is very respected in this community. So is his wife Dixie. Many came to support them. It was really a blessing to be a part of this celebration of life. I may post some pictures of the floral arrangements later. We did a bit of work on our taxes between visitation sessions and came home around 9:15. As I suspected, the coach had not been worked on. We can only pray that the part will arrive in time to be installed during the day tomorrow.
