Wet fun
Wednesday was exciting. We got up a bit late (this is becoming normal) and I went off to take the Communion supplies, take the recycles, and get the car inspected. I found that the car was inspected for two years last year. I also washed the car for Evelyn so she could drive to the Christian Women’s Club. She had found a friend to go with her at last night’s party. She went off to Harlingen. I worked on next Sunday’s service and had lunch of no nothin’ soup. I also swept the floors and got the mail. I still don’t have my check from Taco Bell. I rode my bike to the pharmacy to get some hydrochlorothyazide. I think they miscounted when I got the medicine in late November. Evelyn got home around 2:30 and we were both so tired that we took a long nap. We got up and went to ride the float for the parade around the two parks. We rode with the kitchen band and had a good time until about half way around when we had a downpour. We were soaked, so we came home to change clothes for church. We saw a friend from Canada we haven’t seen for several years, so we invited her to go with us. We were blessed by the message and invited her to come home for popcorn and wine. I also called and made an appointment with the floor guy to come and give us advice on what the floor should look like in our home.
