end of the visit

We were up to find another spot on the driveway. I followed Darl back to Clyde. The mechanic looked the engine over but found no leak. We came back and I fried eggs to go with the sausage links E had made. We enjoyed the leisurely breakfast, they packed their items and we left for downtown Waynesville. We did the usual and then went to Bogart’s for lunch. We split the chopped steak again, and they brought us home and left for home. We took a nap (it was now 2) and readied to go to the baseball game. We met others at the church and rode with McElroys to Asheville. It was “Thirsty Thursday” and we were all happy about that. We had good seats but the rains came, went and came again. We left for home in the rain during the 4th inning. We came directly home and I watched the Cubs beat the Brewers. What a happy day!
