football fever

We slept until 8 and then got ready for the day. We were off to play golf at 10 and played until 2. I shot well having only two penalty shots. My score was better than actuality because I had some “mulligan” on some holes that I parred. Regardless I had an acceptable round of 97. We came home and ate some of the spaghetti left from the dinner last Saturday. We cleaned up and watched some of the Cubs game. They were killed by the Astros. We rested and went to the football game at 6. The game doesn’t begin until 7:30 but one must be early to get a seat. This is the big rivalry game in this area: Tuscola vs. Pisgah. There are around 12,000 people attending these games each year. Last year Pisgah dominated and lost in the semi-finals of the tournament in their division, but this year Tuscola dominated very soundly. We left at the half with Tuscola leading 17-0. We came home and went to bed for a big day of entertainment tomorrow.
