The fnal chapter of the Revolution.
Thursday we really completed the trip: we returned the motor home to our friends who had lent it to us. Evelyn went to the grocery to find some items we needed to replace in the motor home. I worked on finding the circuit reset switch on the generator. I finally did. We hooked up the car and towed it to Hendersonville where our friends live. I looked like it would rain all the way there but didn’t. We returned the coach, and I went inside the house to talk with the Shell card through Citi. I had tried to get fuel at a Shell station only to learn my card had been discontinued. I also saw that our account had been charged for exceeding the spending limit. These made me furious and I told them so. I had tried several times to have the limit increased with no success. I have to figure a way to pay what I owe without paying the fee. We left and went to eat lunch next to the Farmer’s Market. The restaurant is called the Moose Cafe and has good food and good prices. We went to the Market and bought some tomatoes and peaches. We got half bushel for $10. This was a great buy. We returned home, picking up some milk on the way. I wanted to watch the Cubs game but should have found other occupation. We rested and then took some beer, Pepsi and Doritos to Rogers’ just to talk. We enjoyed our time together, and then they invited us to stay for a sandwich supper. We came back, watched some TV, did some ironing and went to bed.
