Knocking around the house

We went off to church, thinking the choir would sing. That was wrong but we sat in the choir loft anyway. There was a baptism and induction of new members. The sermon was on baptism and was very good. I would like to send a copy to the Beeli family. We stopped at the grocery on the way home to use some coupons and get some veggies and eggs. We also bought some bottled water because Evelyn thinks ours is causing her gas. I was thinking she might be right because she didn’t have gas when we were in Mt. Airy. She didn’t want any lunch but I ate a light lunch of a chicken wing . I watched some of the Cubs game, and Evelyn came out to heat some soup for herself. After the game, we made 3 loops and then planted the mums we have around the tree in our front yard garden. Evelyn also cut down some of the black-eyed Susans while I watered the tomatoes, etc. I also dug up 2 rhododendrons because the lawn care guy said they are dying because they were planted too deep. What I did might kill them but they would probably die if left alone. We then had popcorn for supper. She had a long talk with Emily about her test tomorrow morning. Stacy had called earlier so we talked with the entire family today. We also read the 3 newswpapers we have received since we had been gone.
