Dear friends in Fort Wayne

We enjoyed some French toast Orpha had made before going to worship. Today is Reformation Sunday when we remember Luther nailing his 95 theses on the door of the church at Wittenberg, Germany . He didn’t intend the result, but began the protestant movement. He wanted to protest against some of the practices of the Roman church that conflict with Scripture but didn’t want to start a new church. Since he was not welcome back into the Catholic church, he had no choice. We returned to the Knape’s and packed our clothes into our car and left. We spent a large part of the afternoon at the Decatur library working on the computer and killing time until we could go to Grotrian’s. We arrived at 4:30 to find Tom’s sister and brother in law, Charles and Lavon, visiting. We knew them from Via de Cristo some years back. We had a good visit about working at the election, and then Tom, Janet, and we went to Decatur to have Pizza King pizza again. We love the stuff and they had never tried it. They liked it alot. We came back to their house and visited while watching some of the World Series. We went to bed early again. I had talked briefly with Andrew concerning his next paper on the abolitionist, John Brown (his body lies amolderin in the grave). We start on a visit whirlwind tomorrow.
