Another traveloge

I was off to play the worst round of golf in years. I had 12 on 1 hole and lost 4 balls at the same time. The weather was fantastic but I wasn’t. Evelyn worked on cleaning the unit for our departure after exercising. We had lunch at noon, and then I went to Mercedes to have 4 new tires put on the car. I came home and found Evelyn sleeping. She slept through the night but needed a nap. She is behind for the week. I put some more items into containers and put them into the trailer. The Newcomers wanted to come to see our pictures from South America on Friday but that is not a good time for us. We can’t load the car until after taking them to the Remington for lunch. I told Sharon, thinking she might volunteer to drive. That way we could get more loaded into the car. I left the decision of whether they would volunteer to drive in the Lord’s hands. We continued packing and ate supper. We are so far along that we went to ask if Newcomers could come tonight. They had been swimming but agreed to come at 8. We took a nice bike ride before they came. It is very pleasant and there is enough of a breeze to make us cool. They were able to tolerate the entire group of pictures and left around 11. Tom agreed to play golf tomorrow morning. I have two jobs left to do before we leave: touch up painting and cutting the grass. I can do them tomorrow afternoon before the predicted rain.
