disappointing beer bash

I was up at 6 and off to the AARP class by 7. I set up the room and read the Bible for about half an hour until people began arriving. This was the first time I had led a 4 hour class. It seemed to go well. Meanwhile Evelyn was picking up some saga palm trimmings to put out for pick up tomorrow. I got home just as she was leaving for lunch with Bonny. I ate leftovers from yesterday. I spent some of the afternoon drinking beer with Paul, Lionel (men I volunteer with at Knapp) and “Rod” (one of the security guards we work with.) I only stayed an hour because I was uncomfortable with the amount of swearing that was used by them. I was also a bit tired so I came home and worked on the message a bit. Evelyn didn’t get home until after 5. She had a great time with Bonny and her granddaughter, Christian. We had crawfish etouffee for supper and then walked around a while. I got an estimate for painting our driveway with some concrete stain. I am not sure I will use the man I talked with or someone else. I may even do it myself next year. I finished up the message in the evening. I have to file our tax return this weekend. Time is running out. I am still trying to make flight reservations for July too. I have too much computer work to do.
