Encouragement from the doctor

Tuesday we walked the lake early because the alarm worked this time. We finished, showered and drove to the endocrinologist in Asheville. We picked up a coupon book on the way thinking we would use it for lunch. The appointment was at 11:45 but we didn’t see the doctor until after 12:30. He was encouraging in that he said the hyperthyroidism might heal itself within a year. He took blood to see if she needs to take half a pill of Tapazol. We left and went to the Moose Cafe and shared a smoked pork chop lunch. We left there and tried to find a store that sells a brule torch. We spent more than an hour driving around looking for it. We finally did and decided the torch was not worth the money. We did buy a butter dish. We drove back to Canton, shopped for groceries, exchanged razor blades, exchanged some make up and came home for supper. After that we made pica de gallo. We watched the Cubs play while making several phone calls after 9. We made reservations for a Relay for Life dinner, made arrangements to go to a marriage encounter spiral, and talked about the women’s Bible study at church. We went to bed, set the sleep timer and watched some more of the game but fell asleep.
