Moving on

We got up deciding to skip the sorry breakfast offered at the Econolodge. We pulled the car up to our room door and put our luggage in. I had to have Evelyn help carry the refrigerator out. We then got a lot of ice and filled one cooler. I went to the freezer where I had put the frozen food and loaded the other cooler. We drove away and went clear to Slidell before stopping at a Waffle House to share an omelet. We drove on to Alabama and ate while driving to make more time. We had one set of half sandwiches that we had brought with us. We went on to our motel in Tuscaloosa where I booked a room last night. The room was gorgeous, especially compared with the past 2 nights. We went out to O’Charley’s for supper and returned to watch the Cubs play the Reds. We will make it to Roswell tomorrow because I have a room booked at the local La Quinta Inn. So far the frozen things are still fairly solid, but we must add more ice tomorrow and use Stacy’s freezer when we get there.
