More plants
We didn’t get off to a very good start. We had a piece of toast and went to walk around 10. We had to walk a bit slower because Evelyn’s back hurt at yesterday’s pace. We stopped at the Junaluska office and learned that the theme of this year’s Independence Day parade is “overflowing with hope”. It sounds suspiciously like some Obama thing. We went to the doctor so I could request a blood draw. I want to stop taking Crestor thinking it might be causing my legs to ache. If I have my tyglicerides checked, stop for a month and check it again, I can draw some conclusions. We then returned some DVDs to the library and checked out some more. Evelyn wanted some more plants so we went to a nursery to buy some English ivy and coleus for our wishing well. The landscaper brought the final azalea for our front. She also planted some basil. We ate our Cuban sandwich from yesterday for lunch. We also took naps during the afternoon. I found some old outdoor white paint and began stirring it to use for painting the wishing well. We had a salad for supper and then watched 2 movies: “Out to Sea” and “My Blueberry Nights”. One was funny and the other was very slow moving. We are also finalizing plans for our trip in late June. We will go into Virginia to visit some of the old time music sites. The entire trip is less than 400 miles but we plan to take at least 2 days. I will write more about it when we take it.
