one final play at Flatrock
Wednesday was truly play day. I took my medicine vials to the pharmacy after we walked. I had forgotten the telephone so we came home and I called the Flatrock Playhouse to order tickets. They had seats available so we ran another errand. I paid our bill with Mountain Medical and then went to the hospital to let them know we would not be there. The play was a matinee. We came home for lunch, dressed, and left for Flatrock at 1:00. We arrived for the disappointing play called “Real Estate”. The acting and sets were great as usual but we didn’t care for the play. We drove back to Asheville and went to Frankie Bones for dinner. It is Evelyn’s birthday month and this restaurant gives bogof meals during that month. She had a marvelous steak. We wanted to go to the Tourists ball game but we didn’t feel well and were without our stadium seats so we came home. We had called the Norris’ and left a message about meeting them there. When we got home, Karen called from the ball park. I explained and they understood. I tried to work some on the new computer with little success.
