Many errands

We were up early and off to town to run errands. Evelyn weighed in at WW before going to have a waffle. I then cashed a check at the bank, went to Rite Aid to get photos of the granddaughter visit, shopped at the GO grocery, and bought a housecoat for Evelyn at Belk. We stopped at the pharmacy to get my drugs but learned that the prescription had run out. They are contacting the doctor and should have results tomorrow. We came home because we had some refrigerator goods and Evelyn needed to rest. She slept until noon. I made us tomato sandwiches for lunch, and we ate on the deck. It was a beautiful day again and we enjoy looking at the mountains as we eat. I watered the outdoor plants and trimmed some dead limbs from the tomato plants in the pots. I vacuumed and Evelyn mopped the floor. She asked for a new mop head so I went to Lowes to get one. I also cleaned the grill from yesterday’s dinner of salmon. Earlier in the day I had taken the trash and recyclables to the collection point and dropped off a check at the Lutheran church. We are members there even though we seldom attend there any more. Evelyn prepared stuffed bell peppers for our supper, and then we tried to prepare some materials for our Bible study we will lead during the winter. I may try to play golf tomorrow.
