Serving the Lord Tuesday
While Evelyn was exercising, I was watching the DVD we showed in our Bible class at 10. After that we came home for lunch and dressed for our time at the hospital. We drove to the hospital because we had a threat of rain. We have ridden to the hospital only once this year because of the inclement weather. We spent our second afternoon in the gift shop. We have learned some of the techniques a bit better. For example, I began replacing the drinks before the end of the day. We had a good day in collecting over $700. Neither of us can understand people buying the merchandise at such inflated prices ($1.15 for an average Snicker bar). But they do. I thought it would be nice to take Evelyn out to Long John Silvers for supper because she likes that a lot. Afterward we went to the grocery for some of the items we will need for our company Sunday at noon. We are entertaining the same people who couldn't come last Sunday. We will likely have another party during the Super Bowl in the evening. We may be invited out. I was able to plan the prayers for Valentine's Day this evening as we watched a DVD about Jacob and Esau and Joseph and his brothers. It followed the Bible very well and was fairly well done. A heavy rain began this evening and is to last all day tomorrow. 2 inches is predicted.
