A beautiful Sunday

We were blessed with 40 in attendance at our worship. I was surprised, thinking that most people would have left for the north. I know many will be leaving this week. One couple that we met in Pigeon Forge this summer invited us out for lunch on Wednesday. After worship we went to the grocery for some cleaning supplies. Of course we bought more than that. We came home and decided to go to Churchs Chicken and get an 8 piece carryout. I brought it home and we ate 1 piece each. I did my usual preparation for next Sunday during the afternoon. I also went for yesterday's mail before the Purdue/Texas A&M tournament game. Evelyn went to invite the Grondahls for dinner tomorrow night and schedule a haircut for her before we leave on our cruise. I had mine cut yesterday. The day was beautiful, making it difficult to stay indoors to watch the ball game--but I did. It was a great defensive game but very ragged in ball care. In the end Purdue won by 2 points in overtime. We took the bicycles out for a ride. I made arrangements to pick up my golf partner for tomorrow morning at 7:30. I then said goodbye again to the man who had had open heart surgery the first day they arrived in December. I told them to look up Al Ts in Winnie, TX. We continued our ride and began to eat our Sunday popcorn and watch a good new program, "Undercover Boss". A CEO of a major company goes undercover to work at the jobs his employees do. The 1 we watched tonight was fired from one of his shipping plants because he couldn't keep up.
