Our day at the stock show.

We slept in and didn't attend the park meeting for the first time this year. I don't think we have caught up on the hour of sleep we lost Sunday. We got up and I made us some pancakes. Unfortunately, I made the batter too thin, and we had to add flour to thinken it. I finally got them thick enough but added some chocolate chips which caused another melting problem. We went to the stock show where we work at the information station. I have a good time joking with the people coming in needing directions. We worked until 3 and then drove to Harlingen to buy a mattress cover at Kohl's. It was getting close to 5 hours since we had eaten, so we used a coupon to get a Domino's pizza for supper. We had originally planned to take Shirley Pierce with us, but she wasn't home. We used the GPS to find Dominos, ordered a take out, walked to Dollar General to buy Evelyn a comb. We went to McDonalds for something to drink and there was Shirley with some friends from her park. We chatted a while and then brought our pizza back home to eat. I like that because I have beer at home. We spent the evening trying to organize the Bible study for tomorrow.
