Rainstorm driving

We were up by 7 and finished packing things in the trailer. We drove in a heavy downpour to the bank in Clyde. The fax I needed wasn’t there by 9:30, so I had to call Texas. The woman faxed the paper as we spoke. We brought it home, finished packing the car and the coolers. We hooked up to the car and drove to Waynesville to get our lunch of a KFC sandwich. We drove on to GA where we filled up with cheaper gasoline. We continued to drive in rainstorms until we stopped at JaMar farms to eat and buy some Vidalia onion mustard. We drove in the rain virtually all day. We came to the La Quinta and checked in by 3. We took a nap and then drove to Stacy’s. On the way we picked up Peter and got him home just before it began pouring again. We talked while Olivia made us her specialty, linguini alfredo. It was very good. We watched a movie, “Rocket Man” and then came back to the hotel. On the way we stopped for Nyquil and some cough drops before going to bed.
