Where have all the dancers gone?
We planned to arise at 7:30. We had put our telephone, set for that time, beside the bed. When we crawled out of bed at 8:45, we dressed and went to walk. Actually, that too was our plan. Instead we went to BoJangles and had a breakfast biscuit. We both had one with country ham in it and were stunned about how salty it was. That is what country ham is. We left there and went to a local nursery and looked at plants. We ended up buying 3 burning bush and 3 daisy mums. It was really windy but sunny. We came home and decided to dig holes for the plants but not plant them today. There is a frost warning for tonight. We also tried to move one of the poorly growing azaleas. We came in for lunch, planning to eat on the deck. I put some weight on the tablecloth but the wind instantly blew things over. The weather people had predicted 40 mph gusts. After the late lunch we rested and packed a small bit into the suitcases. We didn’t eat supper because there are always many snacks at the dance. Unfortunately, there were only 4 couples there, the one man band was in the hospital, and there was little food. We stayed only until 10 but did dance some. There was a preponderance of cha-cha songs on the CDs that had been pre recorded.
