Coooold!

The temperature dropped dramatically overnight. It was 75 when we went to bed and 47 when we wakened. I put on a heavy sweatshirt and went for a walk. I didn’t go as far as usual because I should have worn a jacket. I returned home and loaded the hatch with the battery operated cart and other items I want to take back to NC. After breakfast I took them to the trailer. I returned, showered and dressed for the hospital. We were ready an hour early, so I made some changes in the sermon before we ate lunch. We went to the hospital and joined the other volunteers for a slow day. Evelyn worked on doing some mailings for the foundation, the arm of the hospital that tries to get contributions and services for the hospital. Evelyn went to a baby shower for the daughter of Ken and Debbie Eilers. She returned for me around 5 and brought me home. We didn’t go out for dinner but did go to the grocery for some final snacks for tomorrow’s football party. It should be a great game.
