My last Sunday off

We were up and off to the 10:30 worship service. It was our last Sunday morning service for the season because I begin my services next Sunday. The service featured a change in the music of the liturgy. I didn’t especially like it but will get used to it. It is not always easy to adjust from what one is accustomed to. We came home and had leftovers for lunch and then watched some of the football game. At least I did. Evelyn read in the swing on the porch. I also went through many of the papers and folders we had not put back yesterday. We had a nice long talk with Emily about our family heirloom list and the proposed trip for the boys in March. We will finalize things later. We rode our bikes around the park to dispose of some of the trash. We had planned to ride longer, but the wind was so strong that Evelyn couldn’t ride comfortably. We saw a couple of pad parties as we rode but didn’t find the couples we wanted to see. We did find one other Purdue fans and invited them to a party next week when Purdue plays IU, but they have plans to go to Austin for Thanksgiving with some family. We will try the other couple we know in the park. We came home, and Evelyn watched some TV while I went to the hall to use the Wifi. I am concerned that I will use more mega bytes than my contract allows. I only have 6 more days on this month and will start over. I must begin to work hard on my worship services this week.
