2 sets of friends

Tuesday was even colder than yesterday. The high prediction was 57. We still went to exercise and found it to be more exerting than yesterday’s. The best thing was that the leader played some jazzy music as we worked out. We had to make our daily visit to the groceries for staples. I was dressed in my blue work out shorts and tank top so I didn’t spend much time outside. I ran from the car to the stores and back. We came home for a light lunch and Evelyn made a bunt cake for her Thursday brunch. The computer was running a bit faster today, so I was able to check some of our credit charges. As we were preparing to meet Dallas and Karen for dinner, we were surprised and delighted to receive a call from Tom and Luanne Jones who are back in Franklin. They are trying to get their home there ready to sell because they have a home in San Antonio where their grandsons live. We made plans to meet them here next Thursday afternoon and evening. They love a seafood restaurant near us, and we will go there for dinner. We met with Norris at Pasquale’s Italian restaurant. Karen had a bogo coupon which made things even more exciting. We invited them back here for strawberry shortcake and a glass of Bailey’s Irish Crème. We had bought a gallon of strawberries in Clyde this morning. We have a good time with them and will meet them Friday night at the ballroom dance.
