Roaring Fork road
Two shots in the same location along the road.
Photos beside the creek that ran from the mountain to just below the Brookside Resort where we spent last night.
Evelyn beside one of the many bridges that allowed the creek to continue flowing down. This was quite a bit of whitewater. One man stood on the rock below for a picture. I am thankful he didn’t slip and fall in. Notice the road is narrow and is one way. It is 5 miles long, and we missed something at the end but would have been forced to drive back to the beginning to return to them.
This is one of the 3 homesteads that were farmed in the 1800s. This belonged to Emert and Minerva. These were the “good ol’ days” we often hear about. No thanks!
One overlook that offered a view of a few settlements below. These are places people live now.
