Delicious leftovers
Monday was a bit more relaxing, but Evelyn had been up 3 hours during the night and I was awake 2. Therefore, the relaxation began by sleeping later in the morning. Evelyn’s sciatic nerve is what is causing her insomnia and pain during the day. She took some Aleve and struggled through a shower and hair washing. We had decided to invite Gary and Linda for dinner to share our German carry out, but we were embarrassed and somewhat furious about the small amount of food we had received. I called Jo and asked to meet her at the church so I could buy some more meat. She was very kind and met me, so I bought another pound before they arrived. We already had extra red cabbage and German potato salad. We enjoyed our dinner and visit afterward. Linda was kind enough to try to help me learn how to use my tablet. I did learn some things but was left short. I don’t know whether the thing is malfunctioning or I am. It is something I will try to work out some more answers even before we get to our son in law, Tom.
