Bike ride and conversation.
Up to Gideon prayer breakfast. I volunteered to help with scripture distribution at a school in San Juan next Tuesday. I came home and got ready to ride to Tierra Santa with our friends. It was not too hot so it was a comfortable ride. We enjoyed the 2 for 1 hamburger special. The service was very lacking, but there was a golf tournament in progress and perhaps that took our server's time. We rode back home and went to another RV park that had a tree with actual thorns growing out of the bark and limbs. I can't remember ever seeing a tree like that. If I have, it was probably that one when someone else showed me. Regardless, we returned here for a great chocolate dessert Evelyn had made. After everyone left around 2:00, we crashed and slept until 5:30. We are both still smitten with the chest congestion which keeps us from truly restful sleep. But, praise be to God, we can sleep without coughing much. We got up, had some popcorn, and went for a walk around the park. We met Jack and Kay Head, walked with them and stopped at our place for popcorn and soda. I forgot to write this blog last night but still didn't get to bed until 10. We had called the Beelis and were blessed to talk with Andrew for a long time, Noah and Rosalie. We don't get to talk with the boys enough. We didn't talk with Elizabeth because Rosalie said she was sick. We sure miss seeing them but living far apart has its ramifications.
