Company comes

We did everything as planned in the morning with the addition of walking up the “mountain“ behind us. I took Evelyn for her haircut and then dropped her at the Open Door before keeping my doctor’s appointment. I am impressed with the time Dr. McLelland is willing to spend with us. He spent at least half an hour just interviewing me and I am not sick at this time. He did hear a micro valve prolapse (I think) but did not seem concerned. I had wanted a digital prostate exam for some time so he gave me one, noting that mine was somewhat enlarged. He recommended saw palmetto for the problem. I will try it for 2 or 3 months to see how it works. I was pleased to learn that I had lost around 5 pounds according to the office scales. It isn’t much but I am not on a crash diet. I tried to return to the Open Door to help clean up but nothing was left to do, so we came home and I had a sandwich there. Evelyn had eaten a small amount while serving. We waited until 5 when Pauline arrived. I had forgotten to tell her which way to turn off I-40 but she chose the correct way. After a short visit, we went to walk around the lake. She was thrilled with the scenery. We returned home for dinner of a stuffed bell pepper and a trip through her album of pictures of her trip to Alaska this past summer. I watched some but spent some time trying to understand what is wrong with our Dish reception. The transponder is stuck on reprogramming step 2 of 5. I will go to the satellite store tomorrow.
