We got up a bit late so Evelyn wouldn’t have to fast too long before having blood drawn at 8:30. The doctor wants to check on her electrolytes since he adjusted her medication. We came home for breakfast and medicine. She has a hard time taking the potassium pills and others without food in her stomach. My stomach is made of leather or something because things like that seem to not bother me too much. We went back to Waynesville to return books to the library and have the computer guy install Microsoft Streets and Trips on my computer. I did one small thing wrong but he corrected it and I know have the newer version installed. I don’t need to find my original disk now. We went to see if Laurie had any eggs as yet. Her hens had developed some disease, and she had to feed them an antibiotic that prohibited the eggs from being eaten. They are recovering but are not laying enough eggs to share as yet. When they regain full production, she will have many dozen to give away. We came home for lunch, and I worked on the sermon in the afternoon (after a nap). I don’t know why I get sleepy during the day, but I do. I did get some things written but am not satisfied with them as yet. We left for dinner at ARFs with the Ribbes. The restaurant is locally owned in Maggie Valley and we shared a good blackened prime rib with a salad, vegetables and baked potato. We kept our points down but were satisfied. We went back to their trailer and played Mexican Train, a game of dominoes. We also had some fruit and a small piece of hydroxyl cookie pie. We played until midnight, something most of didn’t mind. Perhaps because we didn’t realize how late it was.
