Visitor

We all got up and had a bagel for breakfast. I had a feeling that the diet has died since the company came. Evelyn and Pauline left for Asheville where they visited the farmer’s market, drove some on the Blue Ridge Parkway, went to the Grove Park Inn for lunch and came back to walk a short bit in downtown Waynesville. They returned around 5:30. I had gone to the satellite store and found what I could do to correct the reception problem. I thought I had disconnected the system so it could reset. I had not disconnected the correct plug. When I did, it corrected the problem. I then went to the K Mart to buy some diet Pepsi for Evelyn. I also bought another shredder attached to a waste basket. I then went to the library to do the computer work. I came home and had a sandwich for lunch, read some of Summer of the Monkeys and watched some of the baseball playoffs. When they returned home, Evelyn finished cooking the stuffed bell peppers for the potluck. We went and enjoyed beating the diet to within an inch of its life. We finished our study of the history of the LCMS. We came home and they planned their trip to Cherokee tomorrow. I would go along but Pauline won’t let me drive. I thought I was going to help get chairs for the German dinner Sunday, but the nursing home can’t lend them until Friday. I will have to find something to do tomorrow.
