Cleaning up decorations

We had a plan this morning. We went to Trail’s End to ready the motor home for carpet cleaning. We moved the table and chairs out onto the concrete pad and waited for the cleaner to arrive. We waited 15 minutes and then drove to his RV park to see where he was. We borrowed a friend’s phone and found his number to call. He had gone to the wrong park even though we had talked it through several times. He finally showed up and cleaned the coach very well. He put us onto a good but inexpensive spot remover called “Awesome” that Evelyn had to go buy for him. We will use it frequently. The carpet was very dirty as revealed by the mud in the bottom of the vacuumed water. It was nearly noon by the time he finished.
We came home for lunch and began removing our Christmas decorations. We removed all the outdoor items and most of the indoor ones. We are always excited to find what items we overlooked. We will find something in about a week or so. We then took time to relax a while. Evelyn had asked where I was going to take her for dinner but then backed out. I don’t know why but she did. We went to Ray and Genny’s to ask if they wanted to bring their Chonda Pierce DVD to our house to watch. They don’t have a DVD player. We came home for dinner and waited for them to come at 7. They did and we watched the comedy of the “four eyed blonde”. It was both funny and inspirational. We were all moved by her testimony. It is truly a joy to be able to be with Christian friends, laugh in the love of the Lord, and worship all at the same time. Ray tried to help me put our picture on my profile in this blog but somehow couldn’t. He will have to experiment at home to learn what we did wrong. I printed the sermon and prayed for guidance in tomorrow’s message.
