Finishing food
Monday was dentist day. I took Evelyn to have her mouth prepped for a crown on a left molar. I dropped her off and went to the hotel to do computer work. I picked her up after 1 ½ hours of work and brought her home for a soft potato soup lunch. She was wiped out from the novocane and the valium she had taken so I let her sleep for ½ hour while I fixed lunch. After we ate she wanted to take a walk before going to get her hair cut. It was hot but I stayed outside to listen to Rush since I don’t get a chance to do that often. After that we came home and began to work on the left over chicken from Sunday and the turkey breast I smoked yesterday. I had sliced most of it off before lunch but now we had to pick the bones to make chicken salad. We worked almost 3 hours including the clean up. We had some of the salad for dinner along with some roasting ears we had bought Saturday. We settled in to watch Salina, a great family film we had seen before, but I suddenly remembered I had forgotten to transfer money to cover a credit card payment that will occur tomorrow or at least soon. So here I am finishing this at the hotel.
