Worship at our home church
We went to worship at Immanuel to see our friends. We also were blessed with Holy Communion. I was not blessed by the pastor’s sermon, but I am sure mine aren’t always very good either. We turned down an offer to go to a local restaurant for lunch and came home for leftovers. We then went back to work on the inside of the motor home. As we were cleaning, our friends from MN came over. I wanted to spend a few minutes talking with them, but it was difficult getting them to leave. I just went on working on putting some things away, and they finally left, having remembered they had some sort of barbecue roast cooking. We were able to finish the interior and the basement compartments. We don’t have much room for the things here but will likely sell many of the items at the garage sale in our park. We still have many things to put away for tomorrow. We just discovered that we have doctor’s appointments at 9 in the morning, causing a conflict with our town meeting and taking the motor home to the consignment RV lot. Yesterday we took some announcement flyers to Trail’s End, giving them to some of the attenders that were willing to put them up in the more frequented areas of the park so people will know we are holding services. We quit working at dark and watched some of the Colts/Cowboys football game and then watched Basic Instinct until bedtime.
